Canadian Actress Wows in 'Art of Woo'

Canadian actress Sook-Yin Lee plays opposite Adam Beach in the Canadian film The Art of Woo and has an even more impressive list of other talents.

Seemingly relatively frail in this sly romantic comedy, she plays a woman who feels like she was born into the wrong family and poses as a jet-setting Asian heiress who attracts lots of suitors.

Beach, who's also starring in the upcoming big fall film with Nicolas Cage called Windtalkers, calls his 20-year-old co-star, "An amazing actress and a talent in a wide variety of things."

The list seems endless, for Lee, who's also made her mark in Canada as a singer, composer and songwriter as well as an award-winning videographer, a sought-after clothes designer, a screenwriter, and a director.

"I've never been able to know what I'm going to do next, but I like to do a lot of things," she explains simply.
